Our Ministries
"Ua Nui Loa No Kou ʻOia ʻIʻo"
Great is Thy Faithfulness
Kāneʻohe Congregational Church serves the community as a light for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Founded in 1834 we are located in Kāneʻohe Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi and continue to be in His service.
Weʻd love for you to join us! Please contact us if you wish to participate in any of the following ministries.
Worship service
Our worship services are held every Sunday at 10:30 am. All are welcome!
Holy Communion is held in the Sunday service every third Sunday of the month.
Great Commission
Supporting missions throughout the world with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. In 2019 we were able to host Joe and Kay Kong missionaries to Cambodia.
In partnership with local frontline churches in impoverished areas around the globe, Compassion provides children the tools they need to overcome poverty and become responsible and fulfilled Christian adults.
Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child
Gift boxes are collected and assembled in November for shipment around the world to unfortunate children during Christmas. After the boxes are delivered, children receive The Greatest Gift, a storybook that shares the message of salvation. With the Apostle John as narrator, the booklet shares 11 Scripture stories and invites children to follow Christ. Children take this home to share with family and friends. It is used in more than 80 languages.
Angel Tree Prison
Angel Tree is a Prison Fellowship program that gives parents behind bars a way to restore and strengthen relationships with their children through a tangible experience of God’s love.
Benjamin Parker Elementary School
We support Benjamin Parker Elementary School with school supplies for those in need. Donations are collected at the beginning of every school year.
Praise and Worship - Music
Praise and worship continue to be done in traditional English and Hawaiian as well as contemporary worship. We retain the instruments of the Hawaiian churches, the ukulele, guitar, piano and bass. Contemporary worship is done with the acoustic flavors of these instruments.
Our Nu Oli Joyful Serenaders led by our base player Allan Kaneshiro ministers to the kūpuna at Lunalilo Home on the 4th and 5th Sunday of every month.
Our worship team led by Na Kāne ʻOla also spreads the gospel by performing at senior care homes in the Kāneʻohe area. Please call our office for more information.
